"Whopping" 

이 표현은 비공식적이고 회화체로 사용되며, 크기, 양 또는 범위가 매우 크거나 인상적인 것을 나타내는 형용사입니다. 

이 용어는 어떤 것의 규모나 크기가 상당함을 강조하고, 

그것이 무엇인가를 설명하는 범위나 크기에 대한 놀람이나 놀라움을 시사하기 위해 자주 사용됩니다. 

예를 들어, 누군가가 "그들은 상당한 인상적인 연봉 인상을 받았어"라고 말하면, 

그것은 그들이 급여에서 매우 크거나 상당한 인상을 받았다는 것을 의미합니다.

한 마디로

"엄청나다"라는 소리입니다.
