"Catch up"

 

 

한 마디로

1) "만나서 그동안 못다 한 이야기 나누다"

*'언제 밥 한번 먹자~'와 같이 그냥 하는 말로 사용할 때도 있다는 게 포인트 ㅋㅋㅋ

2) "밀린 일을 하다 (따라 잡다)"   라는 뉘앙스를 가지고 있습니다. ^^

 

 

 

예문으로 뉘앙스 확실히 파악하고 가겠습니다.
