"Playing phone tag"

폰 태그를 하는 것"은 두 명 이상의 사람이 서로 전화로 연락하려고 시도하지만 서로의 전화를 

반복적으로 놓치는 상황을 나타내는 구어적인 표현입니다. 

이로 인해 음성 메시지를 남기고 전화를 걸고의 사이클이 형성되며 

서로 다른 시간에 상대방에게 연락을 시도하는 일련의 실패한 시도를 의미합니다. 

이로써 통화가 이루어지지 않은 채로 전화가 번갈아가며 이어지는 상황을 나타냅니다.

이 용어는 직접적인 의사 소통이 놓친 전화나 지연된 응답 때문에 계획을 잡거나 

조율할 때 발생할 수 있는 당혹스러움과 비효율성을 묘사하는 데 자주 사용됩니다.

한 마디로

"전화가 엇갈리다"라는 소리입니다. ^^
