영어회화 연습하기: 여행 영어 (1) 여행 계획 세우기

여행은 계획하는 순간부터 이미 여행이 시작되는 것 같습니다. 

 

요즘 해외 관광객이 다시 부쩍 늘면서 해외여행 성수기를 맞이하고 있습니다. 

이에 따라 해외여행 영어 가르쳐달라는 문의가 많이 들어옵니다. 

그래서 영어회화를 가르치는 저도 덩달아 성수기를 맞이하고 있습니다.

참 감사한 요즘을 보내고 있습니다. 

 

해외여행을 하면서

영어로 음식 주문을 해보고,

호텔에서 예약 확인, 프런트 데스크에 문의도 직접 하고,

공항에서 입국심사 할 때 긴장하지 않고 당당하게 말하고,

현지인들과 스몰토크까지 나누며 더 깊은 문화체험 해보고 싶으시다면

영어 회화공부 할 수 있습니다!

 

2인 대화 형식입니다.  

2인 1조로 역할을 한 번씩 번갈아 가며 말하기 연습을 해보는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다.

파트 A, B로 나뉘고 

A는 영어만 / B는 한국어 해석과 같이 구성되어 있습니다.  

A로 말하기 연습을 하고 본인이 이해한 것이 맞는지 B로 확인하면 됩니다.    

 

시작합니다. 

 

주제: 유럽 여행을 계획하고 같이 갈 사람 찾기

Sarah: Hey Mike! I've been thinking about taking a trip to Europe this summer. 

Want to join me?

Mike: That sounds amazing, Sarah! I've always wanted to visit Europe. 

Where exactly are you thinking of going?

Sarah: I'm thinking of starting in Paris and then exploring other cities like Rome, Barcelona, and Amsterdam. 

What do you think?

Mike: Paris sounds perfect! And visiting Rome, Barcelona, and Amsterdam would be a dream come true. 

How long are you planning to stay?

Sarah: I was thinking about a two-week trip.

That should give us enough time to experience the culture, visit famous landmarks, and try different cuisines.

Mike: Two weeks sounds great! We can cover a lot of ground in that time. 

Have you thought about our accommodation?

Sarah: Yes, I've been looking at some nice hotels and also Airbnb options. 

I think it would be great to stay in local neighborhoods to get a real feel for each city.

Mike: Agreed! Staying in neighborhoods will give us a more authentic experience. 

What about transportation between cities?

Sarah: I've heard that Europe has a great train network, so we can take trains to travel between cities. 

It'll be a convenient and scenic way to get around.

Mike: That sounds like a plan. And I'm sure we'll want to visit some nearby attractions too. 

We should check if there are any day trips or guided tours available.

Sarah: Absolutely! I'll research some popular day trips and attractions for each city. 

We should also make a list of must-see landmarks and museums in advance.

Mike: Good idea. We don't want to miss any iconic sites. 

Oh, and don't forget about travel insurance and visas if needed.

Sarah: Right, we should take care of that. 

Safety first! Let's start planning our itinerary, and we can book our flights soon.

Mike: I'm getting so excited just thinking about it! This trip is going to be epic.

 Let's make it the best European adventure ever!

Sarah: Agreed! It'll be a trip we'll remember for a lifetime.
