여행 영어(5) 관광지 Paris

롤플레잉 회화연습: 여행 영어(5) 관광지 탐방 in Paris

관광지를 여행하는 것은 언제나 신나는 일입니다.

사진으로만 보던 것을 실제 눈앞에 마주하게 되었을 때

생각보다 장엄하고 현장에서 느껴지는 이색적인 분위기,

관광객들의 즐거운 표정, 게다가 맛있는 음식까지 더해지면

왜 진작 와보지 않았을까 싶은 생각마저 듭니다.

 

유럽에서 가장 많이 사랑받는 관광지는 어디일까요? 

아주 많지만 Paris 도 빼놓을 수 없는 곳 중 하나입니다.

상징적인 에펠탑과 루브르 박물관, 몽마르트르 언덕, 센강

가보진 않았어도 수천수만 번 들어본

이름만 들어도 설레는 명소들입니다. 

 

다음 대화는 Camila와 Brandon이

관광가이드 투어를 신청하여 

투어 가이드님과 함께 파리 시내를 둘러보는 대화입니다.

 

파트 A, B로 나뉘고 

A는 영어만 / B는 한국어 해석과 같이 구성되어 있다.  

A로 말하기 연습을 하고 본인이 이해한 것이 맞는지 B로 확인하면 된다.    

 

시작합니다.

Tour Guide: (addressing the group)

"Good morning, everyone! Welcome to our guided tour of Paris. 

My name is Sophie, and I'll be your tour guide today. Is everyone ready to explore this beautiful city?"

Camila: (excitedly) "Absolutely, we can't wait to see all the famous landmarks!"

Tour Guide: "That's the spirit! Our first stop is the iconic Eiffel Tower. As we walk there, 

I'll share some fascinating history about this landmark."

Brandon: "Sounds great. We've seen pictures, but being here is something else."

Tour Guide: "Indeed, the Eiffel Tower is a masterpiece. 

Did you know that it was originally built as a temporary structure for the 1889 World's Fair?"

Camila: "No way, I had no idea!"

Tour Guide: "Now you know! As we stroll along, feel free to ask questions and take photos. 

Our next destination is the Louvre Museum, home to an incredible collection of art and history."

Brandon: "I've always wanted to see the Mona Lisa in person!"

Tour Guide: "You're in for a treat. The Louvre is a treasure trove of masterpieces. 

After that, we'll explore the charming streets of Montmartre and visit the Sacré-Cœur Basilica."

Camila: "Montmartre sounds like a lovely place."

Tour Guide: "Absolutely, it's a bohemian neighborhood with a rich artistic history. 

Our tour will also include a relaxing cruise along the Seine River, where you can enjoy Paris from a different perspective."

Brandon: "That's wonderful, a river cruise sounds so romantic."

Tour Guide: "Indeed, Paris has a way of captivating hearts. 

Throughout our journey, we'll also make time for some delectable French pastries and coffee. 

A little taste of Parisian indulgence!"

Camila: "I'm looking forward to that!"

Tour Guide: "As we continue, I'll provide insights into local customs, traditions,

 and some hidden gems that only locals know about. 

So, get ready to immerse yourselves in the magic of Paris!"

Brandon: "Sophie, it sounds like we're in for an incredible day. Thank you for guiding us."

Tour Guide: "My pleasure. Let's make the most of our time here and create unforgettable memories. 

Off we go!"

좋은 아침입니다 여러분. 파리 가이드 투어에 오신 것을 환영합니다.

저는 소피라고 하고요. 오늘 여러분의 투어 가이드를 맡게 되었습니다.

다들 이 아름다운 도시를 여행할 준비되셨나요?

 

Camila: (excitedly) "Absolutely, we can't wait to see all the famous landmarks!"
(신나서) 당연하죠, 유명한 곳들 돌아보고 싶어서 못 참겠어요!

Tour Guide: "That's the spirit! Our first stop is the iconic Eiffel Tower. 

As we walk there, I'll share some fascinating history about this landmark."

마인드 아주 좋아요. 첫 번째로 가볼 곳은 파리의 상징 에펠탑입니다. 

도착하면 에펠탑에 대한 재미있는 이야기 들려드릴게요.

Brandon: "Sounds great. We've seen pictures, but being here is something else."

좋아요. 사진으로는 본 적이 있지만, 직접 오다니 또 다른 느낌이네요. 

Tour Guide: "Indeed, the Eiffel Tower is a masterpiece.
