" The grass is always greener on the other side" - 잔디는 항상 다른 쪽에서 더 푸르러 보인다.

이 속담은 사람들이 종종 다른 상황, 장소 또는 환경이 자신의 것보다 더 나은 것으로 믿는다는 생각을 전달합니다. 

그러나 실제로는 그렇지 않을 수 있습니다. 

이는 자신의 상황을 항상 다른 것과 비교하고 다른 쪽이 항상 더 우수하다고 가정하는 것에 대한 경고입니다. 

이 속담은 외관은 속이기 쉽다는 것과 멀리 서는 더 나아 보일지라도 실제로 체험할 때는 그렇지 않을 수 있다는 것을 상기시킵니다. 

이는 자신의 상황에 만족하고 모든 상황에는 고유한 어려움과 이점이 있다는 것을 인식하도록 유도합니다.
